Dr Rӑzvan U Constantinescu MBE is the founder of ‘From Bristol, With Love’, a charity which provides humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine. Following Brexit, Dr Constantinescu supported numerous European citizens living in Bristol, in order to ensure they still felt welcomed. He was awarded his MBE in 2023 for his voluntary services to the people of Ukraine.

“Where but in the greatest country in the world, could a former political refugee end up with a doctorate scholarship at Oxford, an MBE, then become their adopted city’s Ambassador, where but in Great Britain? Thank you, Bristol!”
