He studied at UWE Bristol where he graduated with 1st Class BSc (Hons), earning a Bachelor of Science in robotics technology.
He was previously CEO and co-founder of Reach Robotics, which created the world’s first gaming robot launched with Apple globally. He is now co-founder and CEO of Awarri, a company enabling the adoption of frontier technology across Africa and also co-founder and CEO of Reach Industries, a start-up combining various frontier technologies to free the hands and minds of scientists, and enable the labs of the future.
Silas has a passion for the outdoors and wildlife-photography which takes him around the globe. As a lifelong STEAM advocate, he has launched robotics programmes in the UK and schools across Africa to inspire young people. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Technology by his Alma Mater for his contributions to robotics education and was named as Forbes 30 Under 30 in both Europe and Africa.
